Service Selection and Pricing
Customizable Service Selection
Customers can choose one, several, or all AI services for each media processing job. AiR intelligently skips any service that does not apply to the file type submitted.
Flat-Rate Pricing
There is no per-service pricing model. Whether you choose one or all services, the cost remains fixed per runtime unit, providing cost predictability and simplicity.
Usage and Billing
How Usage is Measured
Wasabi AiR charges based on media runtime, not file size or processing time. This standardized model simplifies planning and billing.
There is one API for all services with no tiering or different pricing per service. Use as many or as few machine learning (ML) services as needed for one flat rate.
Media Type | Runtime Charge |
---|---|
1 image | 3 seconds of Wasabi AiR runtime |
1 document page | 3 seconds of Wasabi AiR runtime |
1-hour video | 1 hour of Wasabi AiR runtime |
Job Management
Wasabi AiR processes one piece of media/content per job. You can submit as many jobs as you want.
You can cancel jobs before processing starts. Once a job is marked “processing,” it cannot be canceled or refunded.
Plan Integration
Wasabi AiR is an AI-powered cloud object storage service that enables deep search of media libraries. Media files uploaded into an AiR storage account are automatically processed to generate second-by-second descriptive and technical metadata for the media item.
Wasabi AiR extracts detailed metadata from your media for import into common workflow tools such as media asset managers (MAMs) and orchestration applications.
Customers can purchase Wasabi AiR under our Reserved Capacity or Pay-go pricing model, where you buy a set amount of AiR hours to be consumed over a 12-month term. Applicable terms and conditions are:
12-month terms: Use-it-or-lose-it (or termed with an RCS contract)
Sold in “blocks” of hours, with a minimum purchase requirement of 500 hours, incrementing in 500-hour blocks
Must have a Wasabi storage account
Volume discounts are available (hours purchased by Control Account are consumed by Sub-Accounts (like RCS storage))
