# Configuring Local Settings in WSC

To ensure that large data uploads are not interrupted due to http timeout or incremental live update feeds, WSC enables you to configure these local settings, as needed. To do so, follow the steps below. For more details on these settings, review [Global Settings for WSC](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/global-settings).

1. Click **Global Settings**.
2. Under Local Settings, you have the option to set:
  - Live update interval
  - Http timeout
3. Enter a number in the type field.
4. Click the drop-down to select a unit.
5. Click **Apply all**.
6. A message will notify you that WSC is required to restart. Click **Yes**.
7. A message will notify you that the changes have been applied and that WSC is paused. Click **OK**.
8. To resume operations, click **Wasabi Surveillance Cloud**.
9. Click **Resume**.
