# Connecting to Wasabi Through AARNet Membership

[Australia’s Academic and Research Network (AARNet)](https://aarnet.edu.au/network-connectivity) is renowned as the architect, builder, and operator of world-class network infrastructure for research and education.

AARNet provides unique information communications technology capabilities to enable Australian education, research institutions, and their international peer communities to collaborate.

Wasabi is part of the AARNet community through a network peering arrangement, enabling AARNet members and partners to leverage the high-speed AARNet network for seamless access to Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage. To connect to Wasabi services, institutions must subscribe to the necessary AARNet service.

AARNet offers direct, private connections to cloud providers via AARNet’s fast and reliable network. Wasabi is included in this service.
