# Connecting to Wasabi Through MegaIX Membership

[Megaport](https://www.megaport.com/) is a global Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) company that simplifies and accelerates how businesses interconnect with cloud services, data centers, and other networks. Wasabi has a peering connection with Megaport’s Internet Exchange called MegaIX, allowing traffic with lower latency, more redundancy and with a more direct route to Wasabi’s Sydney data region in Australia.

The MegaIX interconnection service provides high-speed connectivity to the Wasabi storage region in Sydney, Australia, enabling Megaport customers to take advantage of cloud storage and networking solutions that improve the overall cloud storage experience.
