# WACM News December 2024

## WACM Self Activation From Wasabi Console

It's now easier than ever to sign up for Wasabi's Account Control Manager. If you have an existing partner agreement with Wasabi, you will see the option to activate WACM in your Wasabi Console under Settings. If you do not see this option under Settings, contact your [Wasabi Sales representative](mailto:sales@wasabi.com) to discuss options.

## WACM Connect—Account-level API Keys

We have added new account API keys for WACM accounts. This is a key that belongs to the account and not the individual users. Account admins can create and manage these keys. We recommend using the API keys when building production integrations in order to prevent interruptions if a user gets suspended, deleted, or regenerates their key.

## WACM Connect—Channel Account API Keys

Channel Accounts now have access to WACM Connect! Channel account admins can now generate account API keys. User-level API keys for Channel Account users will be available in the next WACM release.
