# Export Debug File

## Exporting a Debug File

To facilitate customer support and more effectively service you, a Wasabi Support technician may request that you download and email a debug file to help Wasabi Support. To do so:

1. Click **Settings**on the Wasabi menu. Or, open the account sign-in ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/image-1697644604764.png) drop-down and click **Settings**.

3. Click **Download Debug Info**. A message indicates that the file is downloading:

The downloaded will be named **wasabi-support-config-[date].json.** You can email it to [Wasabi Support](mailto:support@wasabi.com) when requested.
