# Global Settings for WSC

The following settings are available on the Global Settings page of the WSC Configuration tab.

### General Settings

- Keep replica versions—Keep each modification of the source file as a separate version on the bucket.

### Event Logs

WSC enables you to trigger event notifications and generate logs for the following jobs.

- Replicate file
- Reclaim space
- Retrieve file

You can view the log outputs from the Windows Event Viewer. There are three log types that report an event.

- Information Log
- Warning Log
- Error Log

For more information on each log type, review [Wasabi Event Logs](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/wasabi-event-logs-wsc). To configure event viewer logs, refer to [Configuring Event Viewer Logs](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/configuring-event-viewer-logs).

### Local Settings

- Live update interval—Time interval for WSC to process and upload live camera data to the Wasabi cloud. The specified value controls how often all WSC settings and statistics-related data are periodically updated on the WSC client (default: 5 seconds).
- Http timeout—Allotted time interval for WSC to process HTTP requests. When a configuration is updated or changed in the WSC client, it makes a REST call to the engine to update the configuration on the backend. If the REST calls were to fail, they would fail after the specified time (default: 5 minutes).
