# Groups in Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage

A *group* is a set of users that you can manage collectively.

Refer to [Step 3 in *Getting Started*](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/creating-a-user-account-and-access-key) to review how to create a group. After you define a group, you can assign a user to the group when you create a user account, as described in [Step 3 in *Getting Started: Creating a User*](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/creating-a-user-account-and-access-key#creating-a-user).
