# Converting an RCS Account to a Pay-Go Account

If you convert your account from RCS to Pay-Go, the conversion will occur at the expiration of your current RCS term if you do not renew your RCS contract.

**Before the end date of your RCS contract**, you must have a credit card recorded as a payment method with Wasabi. Follow the instructions to [add your credit card](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/payment-settings#adding-a-new-credit-card). After the conversion, invoices will be generated every 30 days and charged to the credit card on file.

If your RCS contract is not renewed and a card is not added, your account will be put on hold.
