# Aparavi With Wasabi

[Aparavi](https://www.aparavi.com/) is certified for use with Wasabi. The Aparavi Platform finds, automates, governs, and consolidates distributed data, regardless of its location. To use this product with Wasabi, follow the instructions below.

## Reference Architecture

## Requirements

- Aparavi v.2.X or later
- An Aparavi subscription
- An active Wasabi account

## Configuring Aparavi With Wasabi

1. Log in to the Aparavi platform.
2. Select the **Collector** or **Aggregator-Collector** component within the Object tree. This is where to add Wasabi as a target.
3. Select **Policies**.
4. Select **Targets**.
5. Click **Add Target.**

1. A new model will display. Select **S3 Compatible** as your Target Type.
2. Click **OK**.

3. The S3 Compatible modal will open. Specify all the target settings for your designated Wasabi bucket. Provide a name for the target to be used on the platform.
4. Enter the parameters.
5. Specify whether to enable **SSL**, **Encryption,** or **Compression**.
6. Optionally, enter cost estimations.
7. Click **Validate.**
8. If validation is successful, Aparavi can access your target bucket. Click **OK** to finalize.

You are now ready to leverage your newly added Wasabi target.

> This configuration example uses Wasabi's us-east-1 storage region. To use other Wasabi storage regions, use the appropriate Wasabi service URL as described in [Service URLs for Wasabi's Storage Regions](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/what-are-the-service-urls-for-wasabis-different-storage-regions).
