# Chromebooks or Chrome Extensions to Access Wasabi

As of April 2018, Wasabi is not aware of any Chrome extension that supports S3-compatible storage. The Chrome extensions for S3 that are currently available in the Chrome store (including extensions with the name S3, Extended S3 Browser, and My S3 Browser) are hard-coded to only support AWS S3 and do not allow for the entry of the Wasabi service URL of s3.wasabisys.com (us-east-1) or s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com (us-west-1). This problem means that it is not possible to use the Chrome extension approach to access Wasabi from a Chrome browser or Chromebook.
