# Equinix Fabric With Wasabi

[Equinix](https://equinix.com) is not a storage application but rather a network service provider that Wasabi customers can use for high-speed connectivity to the Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage service. Equinix provides Layer 2 transport services to allow Wasabi customers an alternate method to connect to their Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage accounts.

Wasabi is connected to the [Equinix Fabric](https://www.equinix.com/interconnection-services/equinix-fabric) in all data centers worldwide. The Equinix Cloud Fabric is one of the many private networking services that enable you to interface with [Wasabi Direct Connect](https://wasabi.com/direct-connect/) for high-speed, secure, and cost-effective cloud storage.
