# IBM Storage Protect Plus With Wasabi

IBM Storage Protect Plus (previously Spectrum Protect Plus) can be used with Wasabi by following the IBM configuration procedure described in [IBM Spectrum Protect: Configuring an Amazon S3 compatible device as a cloud-container storage pool](http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg22001340).

The data restoration process is handled by your specific backup software application. As many variables can affect your unique environment, Wasabi strongly recommends that you seek guidance from your backup software’s technical support team if you encounter difficulties or have application-specific inquiries.

Wasabi has been certified as a Cloud storage target for IBM Storage Protect Plus.
