How do I use Retrospect with Wasabi?

Retrospect (now part of StorCentric) is certified for use with Wasabi. This Retrospect knowledge base article provides configuration tips on this joint solution. When completing the Retrospect config screens for Wasabi, please use the guidance below. This video may also be useful.

Note that this example discusses the use of Wasabi's us-east-1 storage region. To use other Wasabi storage regions, please use the appropriate Wasabi service URL as described in this article. 

NOTE: Several customers have indicated that they were seeing timeout issues with the client timing out. They suggested that the following configuration in the Retrospect client helped them resolve this: 

1) Go to configure>clients

2) Click on the Interfaces button

3) Edit the Default interface

4) Click Advanced

5) Change the Connection Timeout from 5 minutes to 30 minutes (it will go higher but 30min was sufficient )

6) Close the window and save the changes
