Retrospect (now part of StorCentric) is certified for use with Wasabi. When completing the Retrospect config screens for Wasabi, use the guidance below. This video may also be useful.
Note that this example uses Wasabi’s us-east-1 storage region. To use other Wasabi storage regions, use the appropriate Wasabi service URL as described in Service URLs for Wasabi’s Storage Regions.
NOTE: Several customers have reported timeout issues with the client. They suggested that the following configuration in the Retrospect client helped them resolve the issue.
1) Go to configure, then clients
2) Click Interfaces
3) Edit the Default interface
4) Click Advanced
5) Change the Connection Timeout from 5 minutes to 30 minutes (it will go higher, but 30 minutes was sufficient )
6) Close the window and save the changes
