# Retrospect With Wasabi

[Retrospect](http://www.retrospect.com/) (now part of StorCentric) is certified for use with Wasabi. This Retrospect knowledge base [article](http://www.retrospect.com/en/support/kb/how_to_set_up_a_wasabi_account) provides configuration tips on this joint solution. When completing the Retrospect config screens for Wasabi, please use the guidance below. This [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpuSHp6rP7c)****may also be useful.

Note that this example discusses the use of Wasabi's us-east-1 storage region. To use other Wasabi storage regions, please use the appropriate Wasabi service URL as described in this [article](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/what-are-the-service-urls-for-wasabis-different-storage-regions).

***NOTE****: Several customers have indicated that they were seeing timeout issues with the client timing out. They suggested that the following configuration in the Retrospect client helped them resolve this:*

*1) Go to configure>clients*

*2) Click on the Interfaces button*

*3) Edit the Default interface*

*4) Click Advanced*

*5) Change the Connection Timeout from 5 minutes to 30 minutes (it will go higher but 30min was sufficient )*

*6) Close the window and save the changes*
