# Rubrik With Wasabi

## Configuring Rubrik with Wasabi

Wasabi has been validated for use as an archival location with [Rubrik](https://www.rubrik.com). [Rubrik Security Cloud](https://www.rubrik.com/products) is a comprehensive data security platform that delivers complete cyber resilience. To learn more about our joint solution, please refer to our [solution brief](https://cdn.brandfolder.io/BFD8NB05/as/vb7q2jbk7zmkfh78wk957pn/Rubrik_Partner_Solution_Brief.pdf).

***Note******:****The data restoration process is handled by your specific backup software application. As there are many potential variables that will affect your unique environment, it is strongly recommended that you seek the guidance of your backup software's technical support team in the event that you encounter difficulty, or have application-specific inquiries.*

1. Assign the immutable archival location to the desired SLA domain as detailed in section - [Assigning Archival location to the SLA domain](/v1/docs/draft-rubrik-with-wasabi#assigning-archival-location-to-the-sla-domain). The immutability period for the archived snapshots will be determined by the retention period set in the Archival policy of the assigned SLA domain.
