SimpleBackups With Wasabi

SimpleBackups is an all-in-one website & database backup automation service built for the cloud. It offers extensive support for databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, as well as most cloud storage options, for securely storing backups on Wasabi. Wasabi has been validated for use with SimpleBackups.

Requirements

Follow the steps outlined below to configure Wasabi as a cloud storage target. 

  1. Log in to SimpleBackups and head to the Connect a Storage page.

  2. Pick Wasabi as a storage provider. In the Connect your storage section, provide the following information

    • Key: Access Key 

    • Secret: Secret Key 

    • Region

    • Bucket name

    • Enter a name for your storage. Click Save New Storage.

Note: This config example uses Wasabi's us-west-1 storage region. To use other Wasabi storage regions, please use the appropriate Wasabi service URL as described in this article.

  1. You’ll be redirected to the storage list, where you’ll find the newly connected storage.
