# SimpleBackups With Wasabi

[SimpleBackups](https://simplebackups.io/) is an all-in-one website & database backup automation service built for the cloud. It offers extensive support for databases such as: MySQL, MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and most cloud storage options to securely store backups on Wasabi. Wasabi has been validated for use with SimpleBackups.

### Prerequisites

- [A SimpleBackups account](https://my.simplebackups.io/register)
- [Connect your server to your account](https://support.simplebackups.io/en/articles/3790279-get-your-server-configured-for-your-first-backup-the-simple-way)
- An active Wasabi account

Follow steps outlined below to configure Wasabi as a cloud storage target.

1. Log into SimpleBackups and head to the Connect a Storage page.
2. Pick "Wasabi" as storage provider. iIn the "Connect your storage" section, provide the following information
  - Key: Access Key
  - Secret: Secret Key
  - Region:
  - Bucket: Bucket name
  - Name - a name for your storage and click on "Save new storage".

*Note: This config example discusses the use of Wasabi's us-west-1 storage region. To use other Wasabi storage regions, please use the appropriate Wasabi service URL as described in this*[*article*](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/what-are-the-service-urls-for-wasabis-different-storage-regions)*.*

1. You'll be redirected to the list of storage where you'll find the newly connected storage.
