Plesk is the leading WebOps hosting platform for running, automating, and growing applications, websites, and hosting businesses. Being the only OS agnostic platform. The Plesk hosting platform effectively enables application developers by providing access to a simple and more secure web infrastructure managed by web pros and hosting companies. ### 1. Requirements - Active [Wasabi Cloud Storage Account](https://wasabi.com/sign-up) - Wasabi Bucket - See our [Bucket Creation Guide](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/working-with-buckets-and-objects) - Access & Secret Key Pair - See our [Access Keys Guide](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/creating-a-user-account-and-access-key) - Active Plesk Account - Plesk Obsidian v. 18.0.52 ### 2. Configuration of Remote Storage 2.1 With your Plesk Server installed and running, click **Extension**. In the search box, type Amazon S3 Backup and click the **extension**. ![extensions.jpg](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15575908945307.png) 2.2 Click **Download for Free** and Install the Extension. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15575939543707.png) 2.3 Click **Tools & Settings,** then click **Backup Manager**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15576038899995.png) 2.4 In Backup Manager click **Remote Storage Settings**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15576094595739.png) 2.5 Click **Amazon S3 Backup**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15576058393243.png) 2.6 Click the Service provider dropdown and change the service provider to Custom (Minio, OpenStack, etc.) ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15592565650587.png) 2.7 Fill out the following information. - Service Provider—Custom - API Endpoint URL—[Wasabi Service URL](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/what-are-the-service-urls-for-wasabis-different-storage-regions) where your bucket is located - Login (Key)—Wasabi Access Key - Password (Secret)—Wasabi Secret Key - Bucket—Name of the Wasabi bucket where you want your backups to go - Path—Specified path inside of bucket the ***Note:*** *This configuration example uses Wasabi’s us-east-1 storage region. To use other Wasabi storage regions, use the appropriate Wasabi service URL as described in our* [*Wasabi Service URLs*](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/what-are-the-service-urls-for-wasabis-different-storage-regions)*.* 2.8 Click **Apply,** and if successful, you will receive a green check mark next to the information up top. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15592539949339.png) ### 3. Backup Creation 3.1 Choose Backup Manager and click **Settings**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15576498298907.png) - 3.2 Here, you can specify your required backup settings for your backup jobs. - Maximum number of full backups - How many full backups to keep - Compression Level - No Compression, Fastest, Fast, Normal, or Maximum - Amount of Free Disk Space - Password Type - Encryption settings for backups ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15576547806235.png) Click **Apply** and then **OK**. 3.3 Click **Back Up**. ![mceclip1.png](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15576498298907.png) 3.4 On the Back Up the Server configuration page, you can specify what you want to back up and where the backup needs to be stored. Restore 4.1 In Backup Manager, click on the completed Creation date of the specified job that you wish to restore from. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/15576979294235.png) 4.2 From here, you can select what you want to restore, either certain objects or all objects.
