# WORM Compliance

### Is Wasabi WORM compliant?

Write Once Read Many (WORM) compliance is an important topic when discussing storage because, in many regulated industries such as financial services, WORM is required. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) requires WORM compliance, as detailed in the [Rules and Regulations Summary](https://www.17a-4.com/rules-and-regulations-sec-finra-doj-cftc/) and [What is Worm Compliance and How Do You Achieve It?](https://blog.microfocus.com/worm-compliance-archiving-finra/)

Wasabi achieves WORM compliance through the use of our immutability feature (see [Data Immutability Done Right](https://wasabi.com/blog/data-immutability-done-right/)). For assistance configuring your Wasabi storage buckets with immutability, review [Immutability: Compliance and Object Locking](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/immutability-compliance-and-object-locking?highlight=immutability).
