# Keep Replica Versions in WSC

The Keep replica versions setting enables you to keep each modification of the source file as a separate version on the bucket. When disabled, each new modification of the source file will overwrite the replica on the bucket.

> To use the Keep replica versions setting, versioning must be enabled on the bucket. For more information, review [Bucket Settings: Enabling](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/bucket-settings-wsc).

> Once enabled, this setting will apply to each source mapped to the bucket that has versioning enabled on the bucket.

1. Click **Global Settings**.
2. Click the checkbox to **Keep replica versions**.
3. Click **Apply all**.
4. A message will notify you that WSC is required to restart. Click **Yes**.
5. A message will notify you that the changes have been applied and that WSC is paused. Click **OK**.
6. To resume operations, click **Wasabi Surveillance Cloud**.
7. Click **Resume**.
