MUA for Sub-Account Deletions
WACM allows partners to enable MUA for certain critical activities within the platform, including the removal of a Sub-Account. When a Sub-Account deletion request is made, security contacts receive a notification and must explicitly confirm the request. If any of the security contacts decline it, or there is no response within 24 hours of the request, the request is null and void. If an attempt is made to delete a Sub-Account and a security contact declines the deletion, the initiating user will receive an alert stating the deletion was denied.
Ability to Send Welcome Emails to Sub-Accounts
When creating a Sub-Account, users can select the option to send a welcome email to the Sub-Account. When “send welcome email to Sub-Account email” is selected, a welcome email is sent to the Sub-Account, allowing the user to set their password and log into the Wasabi Console. Password reset requests will also be sent to the sub-account by default.
Reporting on Sub-Account MFA Status
The Wasabi Account Control Manager now displays MFA status on the Sub-Accounts page. If a user has MFA enabled, a lock icon will appear in the MFA column. This allows account Admins to self-govern their users, ensuring they comply with company security policies and best practices.
Ability to Reset MFA for Root Sub-Account User
Account Admins can disable multi-factor authentication for users within their accounts, allowing those user accounts to be reset.
Japanese Localization Support for Custom Cloud Console
Custom Cloud Console (CCC) now includes Japanese language support. As for other languages, this option is available on the language drop-down on the login page.
