# Multi-User Authorization (MUA) Security Activities

When MUA is established with a security contact(s), several events occur when a user attempts to delete the account or a bucket.

Emails are sent to the Root user and security contact(s) for approval or denial.

- If a user requests deletion of the bucket that has the Covert Copy feature enabled, an email is sent to the Root user and any security contact who was assigned the**Delete Covert Copy Bucket**activity during MUA setup. The Root user and contact(s) must approve or deny the bucket deletion. The user who initiated the bucket deletion will see this message:

Once approved by all MUA-assigned people, the bucket will be deleted. Without approval, the bucket will not be deleted.
- If a user requests access to a bucket that has the Covert Copy feature enabled, an email is sent to the Root user and any security contact who was assigned the **Access Covert Copy Bucket**activity during MUA setup. The Root user and contact(s) must approve or deny the bucket access. Once approved by all MUA-assigned people, the user can access the bucket. Without approval, the user will not be able to access the bucket.
- If a user requests deletion of the account, an email is sent to the Root user and any security contact who was assigned the **Delete Account**activity during MUA setup. The Root user and contact(s) must approve or deny the account deletion. Once approved by all MUA-assigned people, the account will be deleted. Without approval, the account will not be deleted.
- If a user requests deletion of a bucket, an email is sent to the Root user and any security contact who was assigned the **Delete Bucket**activity during MUA setup. The Root user and contact(s) must approve or deny the bucket deletion. The user who initiated the bucket deletion will see this message:

Once approved by all MUA-assigned people, the bucket will be deleted. Without approval, the bucket will not be deleted.

When a bucket is pending deletion approval, the Delete action that is normally available for the bucket (in the Buckets list) changes from **Delete**to **Awaiting Deletion Approval**. For example:
