# Regions Settings: Enabling in WACM

Enable regions for an account to control where data can be stored and accessed. Selecting regions helps meet performance needs, ensure availability, and meet data location requirements.

2. Use the toggle to enable ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/CCC_enable_toggle.png) and disable ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/CCC_disable_toggle.png) a region. For example, the Osaka Region shown below is disabled.

Disabling a Region hides it from all sub-accounts.

> All Regions that are "enabled" in your Profile will be available to sub-accounts; however, they can be disabled at the sub-account level.
