# Rehydrating Video Data in WSC

WSC leverages the WSC Job Manager to integrate with both the Milestone XProtect Smart Client plug-in and the Milestone Management Client. This integration enables you to rehydrate video data from Wasabi back to your local storage. This feature can be used for either a single camera or groups of cameras during a specified period.

As an XProtect user, you can either rehydrate video data from the Smart Client or the Management Client, as described below.

## Rehydrating Data from the Smart Client

From the MIP plug-ins page of the Milestone Smart Client, you will notice the WSC integration, as shown below.

To rehydrate video data from Smart Client, follow the steps below.

1. Click **Create job**.
2. Select the camera(s) in which to rehydrate.
3. Click **Add**. The camera(s) will appear in the center pane.
4. Select the time range in which to rehydrate.
5. Click **Submit**.
6. A message will ask you to confirm the total storage to restore to the local disk. Click **Yes**.
7. Once finished, exit the Create job screen.
8. Click **View jobs**.
9. Select your job to view the details.

## Rehydrating Data from the Management Client

Similar to the Milestone XProtect Smart Client, the WSC Job Manager is embedded with the Milestone XProtect. The WSC Job Manager integration can be accessed from the Administration tab of the Milestone XProtect Management Client.

1. Under the Wasabi Surveillance Cloud section of the site navigation, select **Administration**.
2. In the lower right, click **Create job**.

3. From the left pane, expand the Cameras folder to select the cameras in which to rehydrate to local storage.
4. Click **Add** to move the camera(s) to the center pane.
5. Click ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/calendar.png) to select the date and time range in which to restore.
6. Click **Submit**.
7. A message will request that you confirm the amount of data in GBs or TBs to restore to the local disk. To confirm, click **Yes**.

8. A message will confirm that the job was created successfully. Click **OK**.
9. Close the Create Job configuration page. You will now see the job status and details listed in the Administration window.
