# Replicating Folders and Files in WCN

This feature replicates or copies a selected file (or all files a selected folder) from the source to the bucket.

> A manual operation takes precedence over any automatically scheduled tasks or policies.

1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to a source that is paired with a bucket.
2. Right-click a folder or file to replicate.

3. Hover over **Wasabi Cloud NAS**.
4. Select **Replicate**.

5. If notification settings are enabled for the WCN Explorer, a tray notification will provide the job status. Each successfully replicated object and the source folder containing the replicated object(s) are indicated by ![](https://cdn.document360.io/bef0a1ea-7768-4d5a-b520-c4fe2f7fafad/Images/Documentation/replicate icon.jpg).
