# Security Health Check

The Wasabi Security Health Check offers a quick way to understand the security posture of your Wasabi account. It highlights five key security features and five notable security recommendations. We highly recommend you enable/adhere to these to keep your account and data as safe as possible.

The Security Health Check gives you a security score out of 5. The score is based on five critical security issues:

- [Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for the Root user](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/creating-a-virtual-multi-factor-authentication-mfa-device): A virtual MFA device uses a software application to generate an authentication code. Account access is granted only after a user successfully provides this code as identity evidence on an authentication device (such as a smartphone).
- [Multi-User Authorization (MUA)](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/adding-security-contacts): MUA enables you to invite security contacts to sign off on sensitive account activities.
- [Root user password settings](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/defining-the-root-user-password-settings): These settings increase the default difficulty and security standards associated with your Root user password.
- [Concurrent activity sessions](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/setting-advanced-security-options): Prevent multiple sessions from taking place at the same time.
- [Egress monitor](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/replication-notifications): This monitor reviews your daily egress for suspicious activity. Your historical egress is used as a baseline for suspicious activity. You will receive alerts about this activity when the email notification option is enabled.

In this example, the score is 0 because all five critical security issues are lacking
