# Signiant Media Engine With Wasabi

[Signiant Media Engine](https://www.signiant.com/products/media-engine/) and the [SDCX server](https://www.signiant.com/technology/saas-platform-architecture/) have been validated for use with Wasabi. Media Engine allows you to manage, index, find and preview media across your entire project.

## Requirements

- Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage account
  - Wasabi bucket (see [Creating a Bucket](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/working-with-buckets-and-objects#creating-a-bucket))
- Signiant SDCX Server - See [SDCX Installation](https://help.signiant.com/media-shuttle/account-administration/storage/on-premises/install)
- Paid Signiant Cloud Account (see [Signiant Pricing & Packaging](https://www.signiant.com/platform-pricing_page/))
- A [Media Shuttle Portal](https://help.signiant.com/media-shuttle/signiant-console/portals) or a [Jet Job](https://help.signiant.com/jet/jobs/working-with-jobs) Associated with Your Storage Profile

## Adding a Wasabi Storage Profile to Signiant Console

1. Log in to your Signiant Cloud Console at [https://console.signiant.com/login](https://console.signiant.com/login).

2. Navigate to the Storage Profiles tab on the lefthand panel and click the blue **+** icon.

3. Choose **S3 Compatible** from the drop-down.

4. Configure the Storage Profile.
  1. Input the descriptive name for your Storage Profile.

  2. Select your SDCX Endpoint.

  3. Input the Wasabi service URL for the bucket.

  4. Input your Wasabi access and secret key.

  5. Input your Bucket Name, Service Region, and optionally a Path.

  6. Under Additional Settings, enable **Index with Media Engine**.

  7. Finally, click **Create**.
5. Your Storage Profile will now show up under the Storage Profiles page. If media is present, it will begin indexing automatically. Otherwise, you can now upload data to your Wasabi Bucket and Media Engine will automatically index it.

6. Once your data has been indexed, you will see it under your Media Engine dashboard.
