A Sub-Account is an individually provisioned child storage account managed under a single parent Control Account or Channel Account. A Sub-Account has access to the Wasabi Console but not to WACM. When you sign in to WACM as a Control Account or Channel Account Admin, the Sub-Accounts page is displayed by default. ## Tier 3 - Sub-Accounts (End-Customer / Linked Accounts) A Sub-Account is a Tier 3 operational tier account in the WACM account hierarchy and is a child account linked to a Tier 1 Control Account (enterprise model) or Tier 2 Channel Account (partner model). It is the operational environment where storage resources are created, configured, and consumed. When linked to a Control Account, Sub-Accounts inherit governance policies from the parent Control Account. Linked accounts generate usage and billing data, which roll up to the Control Account for centralized visibility. When linked to a Channel Account, Sub-Accounts typically represent end customers. The Channel Account provisions, manages, and monitors these end-customer accounts, and usage and billing data are rolled up for aggregated visibility. ## Related - [Product Guide for Control Accounts](/account-control-manager.md) - [Account Information Settings: Sub-Accounts](/sub-account-management.md)
