# WACM Self-Activation

If you have an existing partner agreement with Wasabi, you will see the option to activate WACM in your Wasabi Console under Settings. If you do not see this option under Settings, contact your sales representative or [Wasabi Sales](mailto:sales@wasabi.com) to discuss options.

1. Log in to the [Wasabi Console](https://console.wasabisys.com), navigate to **Settings**, and select **Wasabi Account Control Manager**.
2. Click **Activate WACM**.

An activation dialog is displayed and is pre-populated with your email as the WACM Admin user.

> If you want to change the pre-populated email, you must do so before permanently activating WACM.
3. To permanently activate access, type **permanently activate** in the field provided.
4. Click **Activate**.

Typically, activation is instant. If activation is delayed, a message is displayed that activation is pending. Once WACM is activated, you will receive a welcome email.
5. In the Welcome email, enter your WACM password.
6. Once your account is activated and your password is set, you can access WACM through the [Wasabi Console](https://console.wasabisys.com) (https://console.wasabisys.com) page in Settings by clicking the **Go To WACM** button or by navigating to the [WACM Sign In](https://wacm.wasabisys.com) page (https://wacm.wasabisys.com).
