# 1—Signing In to WACM

Sign in to WACM to access the platform. You must be authenticated to manage accounts, configure settings, and use WACM features.

## Objectives

- 2—Create a user and assign a role.
- 3—Create a sub-account trial.
- 4—Access and export consumption data.

## First Time Sign In and Basic Operations

When Wasabi provisioned a WACM instance for you, an activation link is sent to the email address associated with the Control Account by [support@wasabi.com](mailto:support@wasabi.com). The link in the email allows you to verify the email address and complete the account activation by creating a password.

> Wasabi recommends enabling MFA or SSO for secure access to WACM.

## Sign In

Now, you can sign in to [WACM](https://wacm.wasabisys.com/en/wasabi/auth/login) (https://wacm.wasabisys.com/en/wasabi/auth/login). Once you are logged in to the WACM portal, you are presented with the WACM [Control Accounts dashboard.](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/navigating-the-dashboard-in-control-accounts)

## Logging Out of WACM

1. Open the account sign-in drop-down.
2. Click **Log Out**.
