# Deleting Large Numbers of Folders or Files

When trying to delete a large number of folders or files (>1000) from Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage, the Console may become unresponsive for an extended time. For this reason, Wasabi recommends deleting these folders and files using a third-party storage management client that will allow you access to the folders and files through the S3 API. [Mountain Duck](https://mountainduck.io/) and [CloudBerry](https://www.cloudberrylab.com/) Drive or Explorer are examples of products available for this purpose.
