For questions about these updates, use this email to contact a [Wasabi Customer Support](mailto:support@wasabi.com) representative: support@wasabi.com.

## Version 3.0.0.113 - April, 2026

### Enhancements

- Bandwidth Control—The Enable upload speed limit setting enables you to control the bandwidth for uploading objects. The specified value in this field is stored in the “replicate_bw_limit“ key in the registry. For more information, see [Enabling Upload Speed Limit in WCN](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/enabling-upload-speed-limit).

> The setting specifies the bandwidth limit. It is not guaranteed that the upload speed will meet the specified kbps/mbps rate. The upload and download speed depends on the internet connection and the number and size of uploaded objects.

- Restore all Data From the Bucket—The option to Restore ALL data from the bucket is now available in the context menu. This feature is used to download all objects from the bucket to the local folder, even if they were uploaded to the bucket manually or programmatically by other applications. For more information, see [Restoring All Data From the Bucket in WCN](https://docs.wasabi.com/docs/restoring-all-data-from-bucket).

### Changes

- When a source is deleted from the WCN client, a message is recorded in the Event Viewer logs specifying the source name and the time of deletion.
- Uploading an empty folder to the bucket is controlled through the “replicate_create_file_in_empty_folder“ registry key. This key is created in the registry during the installation of the latest client, and its default value is 0. Update the value to 1 to allow the WCN client to upload an empty folder to the cloud, which includes a dummy file with a size of 0 B.
- The Undelete option, available in the context menu, is disabled once the files are restored or undeleted.
- An IAM policy on the bucket can be used to restrict the listing of versioned objects locally. Denying “ListBucket” and “ListBucketVersion” actions in an IAM policy can be used to restrict the versions of the objects to be synced locally to the source folder.
- When a local source folder is mapped to the bucket through the WCN client, the source path text box under the WCN local source pane is disabled.

Folders or files. Wasabi stores *objects* in *buckets* (logical software containers in which to store objects). Once you create a storage bucket, you can upload objects into the bucket.

(Identity and Access Management) Web services that help to securely control access to resources. IAM is used to control who is authenticated (signed in) and authorized (has permissions) to use resources. In Wasabi, IAM includes Policies, Access Keys, Groups, Roles, and Users.
