How do I use QSCAN with Wasabi?
QSCAN media automation can be used with videos stored in Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage. This article describes the procedure for configuring QSCAN to work with Waaabi.
Prerequisites
Active Wasabi Cloud Storage account.
A Wasabi non-Object-Locked (non-immutable) bucket created.
Wasabi access and secret keys.
Active QSCAN account.
QSCAN Configuration
To start using QScan with Wasabi, after login, click on Settings then Repositories and click on Create New Repository.
In Storage Type, select S3.
Enter the following information:
a. Repository Name
b. Wasabi Access Key
c. Wasabi Secret Key
d. S3 Endpoint where your bucket resides. This example uses the Wasabi us-east-1 region (https://s3.wasabisys.com). See the list of Wasabi Endpoint URLs according to your bucket region.Click on Add Locations.
Type your bucket path as the example below s3://YOURBUCKET/. If you want to use a folder, type s3://YOURBUCKET/FOLDER/, and click on Browse Path.
Then click on Select.
The Path Location will be displayed at the end of the form. Click Add Repository.
Your new Wasabi repository is configured.
QSCAN - Processing Videos
Now you just need to upload your videos to your bucket and start to process it. In the Quick Analysis, click on the repository name Wasabi and wait until it loads/lists the video files.
Once the videos are loaded, select the video that you want to process, select the format based on the templates and click Add Job.
After adding the job check the queue to see the result.
