Returning the Wasabi Ball Transfer Appliance

Once you are done transferring all the data:

  1. Safely power off the Wasabi Ball.
  2. Package the Wasabi Ball and any cables that came with the device back into the carrying case.  
  3. Depending on your location, follow the steps below.

For Wasabi Ball customers located in the North America region:

  1. Within the carrying case, a FedEx return shipping label is included. Apply the shipping label on the carrying case.
  2. Either schedule a FedEx pickup or drop off the package at a FedEx location.

For Wasabi Ball customers located in the European region:

  1. For details about where to ship the Wasabi Ball Transfer Appliance for return within 30 days, contact your Wasabi Sales Engineer via the support ticket opened for you when we shipped the Wasabi Ball to you.
  2. Use the shipping company of your choice to ship the Wasabi Ball back to the address provided by the Wasabi Sales Engineer.
  3. Share the tracking number with the Sales Engineer so Wasabi can track the delivery to our data region.

When the Wasabi Ball is at the Wasabi Data Center and is ready to be uploaded, a Wasabi Sales Engineer will contact you for additional information to start the upload to your Wasabi account.
