I provided a pre-signed URL to share an object with other users. They opened the file in the browser and left it open. Why doesn’t the URL expire after the set period?
Users will receive an access denied error message when the browser is refreshed.
Can I set compliance and versioning through the Wasabi Panel?
No. To enable and govern these settings, you must log in to the Wasabi Console.
What media files can I play through the Wasabi Panel?
The following media files are supported for inline viewing from the Adobe applications:
Audio: mpeg, ogg, wav
Video: mp4, webm, ogg
Image: .gif, .ico, .cur, .jpg, .jpeg, .jfif, .pjpeg, .pjp, .png, .svg
How can I generate a pre-signed URL from the Wasabi Panel plug-in?
Mouse over an object in the bucket to display the
icon. Click this icon to generate a URL for the specified period. Users will not be able to access the object after the time expires.
How can I resize the Wasabi Panel window?
To resize the Wasabi Panel, click on the Panel menu (three horizontal lines, or hamburger menu) and select undock panel.
Alternatively, drag the Panel tab to a new location on the screen. The undocked panel becomes a free-floating window that you can resize or move to another monitor.
Why am I getting an “access denied” error when I try to add or delete an object in a bucket?
The access and secret keys used to log in to the Wasabi Panel may be associated with a user who has restricted permissions to perform updates or deletions. Remove the restrictions applied to the associated user using an IAM policy, or create a new sub-user without restrictions.
