Configuring WSC for Standard VMS

This article outlines the process of configuring WCS to connect and integrate with standard VMS.

Follow the steps below to configure WSC for use with your VMS.

  1. In the WSC Configuration Wizard, select Configuration.

  2. In the VMS Location field, browse to your VMS recordings directory (the source that is replicated to Wasabi) on your local machine, and click OK.

  3. In the Region field, select the region where the server is located. The Wasabi Service URL field will automatically populate based on the selected region.

    The Bucket Name field will automatically populate with a default bucket name, which you can change.  

    If you provide a different bucket name, select a unique name according to the bucket naming conventions defined in Bucket Naming Rules.

  4. Click Configure.

  5. Review the Configuration Summary. Click Finish.

    Wasabi Surveillance Cloud is now running and replicating data from the configured source to your target Wasabi bucket.
