The Users & Groups section of the Wasabi menu enables you to manage groups, roles, and users.
- A user is an individual for whom you create Wasabi authentication, giving that person permission to perform actions in Wasabi.
- A group is a set of users that you can manage collectively.
Each user and group can be associated with one or more policies to define the actions that a user or group member can perform and the conditions under which those actions can take place. - A role is an identity with permission policies that determine what the role can and cannot do in Wasabi. A role can be associated with any user who needs that identity.
Refer to Step 3 in Getting Started to review how to create a group, create a user, assign the user to a group, and attach a policy. In addition, you can review how to assign an access key (for use with third-party applications) to a user.
