To what account type is RCS - Capped available?
Both standalone and control accounts can purchase the RCS - Capped pricing option.
How do I increase my storage capacity?
Purchase added storage capacity (minimum 25 TB) from the same organization that sold the original RCS contract. If you need assistance, contact Sales@Wasabi.com.
What is the minimum capacity commitment for RCS - Capped?
Similar to traditional RCS, the minimum commitment is 25 TB for 12 months.
The minimum add-on is 25 TB.
If I am an existing RCS customer, can I switch to RCS - Capped?
Traditional RCS customers can swap to RCS - Capped but must increase the storage capacity by at least 25 TB at the time of the swap.
For example. if the original purchase is 50 TB for 12 months, the customer can move to RCS - Capped for no less than 75 TB for 12 months.
What is the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for a response?
The RCS - Capped pricing option will follow the same SLA as traditional Wasabi object storage. However, failure to increase an RCS- Capped limit when capacity is reached may cause service degradations, which will be ineligible for service credits. For example, if a customer exceeds their RCS - Capped limit and can no longer upload new data, the customer will not be eligible for service credits based on the inability to upload new data (or any other resulting service degradation).
Does the Wasabi Console show customers their usage?
Customers can see their Active and Deleted Storage when logging in to the Wasabi Console. A new RCS Gauge is also displayed on the Console Dashboard for all RCS customers. The Gauge clearly shows Current Usage against RCS Purchased Storage.
Do customers receive any type of alerts or notifications about their usage?
As a convenience, an email notification will be sent to the email address associated with the Wasabi storage account (for example, storage@mycompany.com) every time the storage account reaches 75%, 90%, or 100% of the capacity defined in the RCS - Capped contract. The customer is solely responsible for monitoring usage. The Root account user can add up to 10 email recipients for these alerts, as described in Adding Recipients for Email Notifications.
