    Article summary

Is RCS - Capped available to all account types?

No. Currently, RCS - Capped pricing options are available for Standalone Accounts only. Control Accounts cannot set up or purchase an RCS - Capped account at this time.

How do I increase my storage cap?

Purchase added storage capacity (minimum 25 TB) from the same organization that sold the original RCS contract. If you need assistance, contact Sales@Wasabi.com

What is the minimum capacity commitment for RCS - Capped?

Similar to traditional RCS, the minimum commitment is 25 TB for 12 months.

The minimum add-on is 25 TB.

If I am an existing RCS customer, can I switch to RCS - Capped?

Traditional RCS customers can swap to RCS - Capped but must increase the storage capacity by at least 50 TB at the time of the swap.

For example. if the original purchase is 50 TB for 12 months, the customer can move to RCS - Capped for no less than 75 TB for 12 months.

What is the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for a response?

The RCS - Capped pricing option will follow the same SLA as traditional Wasabi object storage. However, failure to increase an RCS- Capped limit when capacity is reached may cause service degradations, which will be ineligible for service credits. For example, if a customer exceeds their RCS - Capped limit and can no longer upload new data, the customer will not be eligible for service credits based on the inability to upload new data (or any other resulting service degradation).

Does the Wasabi Console show customers their usage?

Customers can see their Active and Deleted Storage when logging into the Wasabi Console.

Do customers receive any type of alerts or notifications about their usage?

As a convenience, an email notification will be sent to the email address associated with the Wasabi storage account (for example, storage@mycompany.com) every time the storage account reaches 75%, 90%, or 100% of the capacity defined in the RCS - Capped contract. The customer is solely responsible for monitoring usage.
