Direct Connect Options
Wasabi currently offers the following direct connect options:
Wasabi Direct Connect (Dedicated): A direct, private connection provisioned from the customer’s data center to one of the Wasabi storage regions. This will include a Letter of Authorization (LOA) given to your provider on behalf of Wasabi.
Wasabi Direct Connect (Hosted): A direct, private connection provisioned from the customer’s data center through a cloud service provider (CSP) or a hosted network provider to one of the Wasabi storage regions.
Additionally, Wasabi supports direct connect services that enable a customer to connect an existing cloud provider’s storage service to one of Wasabi’s storage regions. This service provides the L2/L3 transport service for data migration from one cloud storage provider to Wasabi, applying our supported migration tools.
WDX for Third-Party Cloud Service Providers
In the event a customer has data in alternative data center locations or third-party CSPs, such as AWS, Wasabi supports direct connect services that allow a customer to connect their cloud providers storage service to one of Wasabi’s data storage regions, given that they are an S3-compatible service. For anything other than a Wasabi Dedicated Direct Connect, users should acknowledge any interconnect or hosted connection requirements of their service from the originating provider.
WDX Questionnaire
Customers interested in WDX services should contact Wasabi Sales, who will provide you with a WDX questionnaire to collect the information needed to properly generate a Letter of Authorization/Cross Facility Assignment (LOA/CFA) for the direct connect service (Ethernet Private Line only).

WDX (Dedicated) Availability
Direct connect Dedicated service provided by Wasabi is available in all Wasabi data regions.

WDX Usage Terms
Due to the network provisioning and other setup costs associated with WDX, we require a minimum 12-month term for using WDX.
