A Channel Account acts as a parent account for managing Sub-Accounts, allowing you to delegate administration and monitor usage across customer environments. Channel Accounts have access only to the sub-accounts they create or are assigned.
To create a Channel Account:
Sign in to WACM (https://wacm.wasabisys.com/en/wasabi/auth/login) as admin.
Select the Accounts drop-down and click Channel Accounts.
Click Create Channel Account. The Create Channel Account form is displayed.
Complete the form with the required information.
Control Account—Select a Control Account from the dropdown.
Account Name—A descriptive name for the new Channel Account.
Contact Email—The contact email used for the new Channel Account.
The Contact Email field requires a unique email address. An email address cannot be shared across accounts and must be unique.
Storage Quota—Enter the amount of storage you are allotting for this Channel Account. RCS usage capacity information is provided to help you adjust the quota accordingly.
Quota Type—Select the Quota Type from the drop-down. The available Quota Type depends on whether a hard quota or a soft quota is enabled. If you do not see the Quota Type drop-down, the quota will be a soft quota used only for altering. Most users will have the Soft Quota type enabled.
Set Quota Dates—Enable this toggle to specify the time period used to track Sub-Account storage usage. Select the desired start and end dates from the Quota Start Date and Quota End Date dropdown menus.
Click Create. The newly created Channel Account is displayed on the Channel Accounts page.
