The Channel Accounts Product Guide provides instructions for onboarding your partners to begin selling through WACM under your Control Account. MSPs and resellers can manage multiple tiers of Sub-Accounts, providing flexibility to manage multiple products and contracts and simplify combined billing across channels.

Tier 2 - Channel Accounts (Partner Management Parent)

A Channel Account is a Tier 2 partner management account in the WACM account hierarchy. It is optional and allows third-party access to WACM. A Channel Account is created by the Control Account user and includes Reseller or MSP Accounts that manage downstream Tier 3 Sub-Accounts. Channel Accounts do not have access to the Wasabi Console account and only manage their Sub-Accounts.

In the Channel Account model:

  • The Channel Account is responsible for managing the customer environments.

  • Sub-Accounts remain logically separate from one another.

  • Operational activity happens at the Sub-Account level.
