Setting Advanced Security Options

  • PDF

You can apply advanced security to your account to prevent multiple concurrent active sessions for one user identification in the Wasabi Management Console.

  1. Click Settings on the Wasabi menu. Or, open the account sign-in drop-down and click Settings.
  2. Open the Advanced Security Options drop-down.
  3. If MFA is enabled, enter the MFA Code. This is required.

Advanced Security Options are protected by MFA. Wasabi recommends that you enable MFA.
  4. For either security option, slide the option to the right to enable it. The slide option is blue  when the advanced security option is enabled. When disabled, the option is gray:

Prevent multiple concurrent active sessions for one user identification in the Wasabi Console: When this option is enabled, you cannot have multiple concurrent active sessions for one user identification in the Wasabi Management Console.

Prevent account deletion with OL buckets: When this option is enabled, you cannot delete the account with active Object Lock (OL) buckets. A list of OL buckets will be displayed when you attempt to delete an account.

  5. Click UPDATE ADVANCED SECURITY SETTINGS to confirm your changes.
