WSC client version 2.3.0.31, Release date - August 12, 2025

Enhancements

  1. A new Test Connection feature enables you to verify that they have the necessary permissions to perform operations such as listing, uploading and downloading, and other actions listed below in the Test Connection modal dialog screen. The Test Connection feature is accessible for all sources mapped to buckets in the Wasabi storage.

  2. Filter options for the Disaster Recovery and Storage Extensions: Date filters are available to include or exclude objects from a DR and/or Storage extension policies.

  3. The feature to enter an existing bucket name manually is helpful if you cannot access the list of buckets for the logged-in account. If you want to map a local folder to a bucket using the WSC client, select the checkbox, enter the bucket name in the text box, and click Apply.

  4. When the Use Prefix feature is enabled, a new folder will be created in the mapped Wasabi bucket under the tt_rt folder with the specified prefix name. This folder will contain the metadata of objects with that prefix. You can create as many prefixes within a bucket as needed. Objects from the source folder are replicated to the data folder within the tt_rt folder. For the Milestone VMS, data is uploaded using the GUIDs format, while other VMSs use a path format.

Changes

  1. The default policy settings for Disaster Recovery and Storage extension policies are turned off. You need to turn these policies on explicitly.

  2. Region names for London eu-west-1 and London GB eu-west-3 are updated to United Kingdom eu-west-1 and United Kingdom eu-west-3, respectively.

  3. The dependency on the Sentinel License Development Kit (LDK) license server has been removed from the client installation code, which was causing installation issues in some environments.
