Introduction
Wasabi Cloud Storage and Acronis Cyber Protect seamlessly combine to provide comprehensive backups and secure, easy-to-manage, and affordable cloud storage to help businesses manage storage costs and complexity. Together, they offer a cohesive solution that empowers businesses to back up their data directly to Wasabi’s ultra-secure and cost-efficient cloud storage, ensuring unparalleled protection and peace of mind.
Wasabi App for Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud has been designed to simplify the workflows for MSPs. It enables the MSPs to easily create and manage Wasabi storage accounts for their customers from within the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud portal. Leveraging the Wasabi Account Control API (WACA), Wasabi App utilizes the Control account – Sub-account structure. The MSP purchases a Control Account from Wasabi and uses the Control account credentials to enable the Wasabi App in the Acronis platform. The MSP can now create Wasabi storage accounts and map the Wasabi storage accounts to its Acronis customers. Once mapped, the MSP will be able to create Wasabi buckets, create a cloud storage location, and assign it to a protection plan directly from the customer level of the portal.
